Directions
The hotel itself is a mere 300 metres from Trastevere railway station,
which can see you in the city centre or he Vatican area in just
a few minutes, as can tram No.8 which can be accessed just a few
metres from the hotel’s entrance.

Arriving from Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) airport,
guests should take line No. FM3 of the local train service to the
‘Viale Trastevere’ stop (approx. 25kms), located 300
metres from Hotel Villa Rosa.
Rome's second airport, Ciampino, is also approximately
25kms from the Hotel Villa Rosa and guests can take the blue COTRAL
bus (€ 1 + €1 luggage per person) to the subway (Metro)
Line A stop Anagnina and then take the Metro (also €
1) to Termini, before proceeding as below.
Those arriving at Termini (Rome’s central railway
station) can simply catch bus ‘H’ and alight at the
‘Stazione Trastevere’ at the bottom of Viale
Trastevere. The Hotel Villa Rosa is approximately 300 metres from
the train station on Via Giovanni Prati, number 1.
Guests looking to arrive at the Hotel Villa Rosa by car
should follow signs for the city centre – ‘Trastevere’
having taken Rome’s ring road ‘Grande Raccordo Anulare’
and the ‘Aurelia’ exit.
Guests can of course also take a taxi directly
to the hotel from either airport at greater expense, naturally.
Expect to pay around €35-45 to the city during the day and
slightly more expensive at night. A taxi from Termini to the Villa
Rosa Hotel should cost in the region of €10-15. |
